Well the much awaited expansion to World of Warcraft has been released. Many people lined up outside the store to get their copy. I wisely pre-ordered my copy from Amazon, which after two weeks from the expansion, it has finally arrived. This kind of well, defeats the purpose of pre-ordering items. Thank you Amazon!
My expensive mailbox from the UPS Store is not very responsive as to whether I received the package or when they are going to forward my mail. Thank you UPS Store.
I think maybe the experience is good for me, because well, the game is losing its appeal for me, as I am not looking forward to waste hours and hours to grind for quests, professions, and leveling, and then grinding again to get pretty virtual armor. For those unfamiliar with gaming terms, grinding means spending hours upon hours of doing something mundane and boring to attain something rewarding in the game that might lead to further enjoyment.
Anyhow, the game might have helped distract me from the alienation and lonliness one may feel living in a foreign country like Korea. But as I stave off my game addiction, I am wondering what else is out there that can help escape from dissmal state of existence.
